Jasper is a big, goofy, lovable gentle giant who is from Moosonee, and he is guaranteed to bring laughter and joy into your home. This sweet boy has a heart just as big as he is and absolutely adores spending time with his people—especially kids. He thrives on companionship and will happily follow you from room to room just to be close. Whether it’s hanging out at home, playing in the yard, or heading out on an adventure, Jasper is happiest right by your side.
He loves going for walks and does well on a gentle leader. Like many enthusiastic pups, he has an initial burst of excitement (about 10 minutes worth!), but once he settles in, he walks beautifully and is a pleasure to have out and about. He’s the kind of dog who would enjoy regular outings and exploring the world with his family.
Jasper is very eager to please and truly wants to be the best boy he can be. He’s crate trained and does well when crated, settling in nicely with a toy or two. He does need a more minimal setup in his crate, as soft bedding like blankets or pillows tend to become his next “project”. With the right structure and guidance, he continues to show just how wonderful and adaptable he is.
He’s also quite curious about cats and would love to play with them, so a dog-savvy cat or a home willing to help guide those interactions would be ideal. Jasper’s gentle, playful nature really shines through in everything he does, and he’s always ready to make new friends.
