Husky Dogs Available for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Hi, my name is Mantis! I am approximately five years old and weigh 70 pounds. My people think I may be a Husky mix, but that’s just their best guess.

I am a super sweet boy who loves everyone I meet. My story started a little rough. I was found wandering around a rural area in terrible condition. I had severe sarcoptic mange, barely any hair, was extremely underweight at only 50 pounds, and was covered in fleas and parasites. Thankfully, some wonderful people stopped to help me and changed my life forever. My rescue family made sure I received all the medical care I needed, and now look at me — healthy, handsome, happy, and thriving! They even included photos so everyone can see just how far I’ve come.

Through it all, I have remained the gentlest, most grateful soul. My people say I truly appreciate being loved and cared for.

I am both house trained and crate trained. I also walk very well on a leash and love going out for strolls and adventures with my people. Despite my Husky looks, I am not a high-energy guy. I’m more interested in being close to my humans, soaking up affection, and enjoying life by your side.

I am dog friendly, but honestly, I would be perfectly happy being your one and only. I am all about my people and would love a family that wants a loyal companion to share life with.

My rescue family says I am one of the sweetest dogs they have ever met and that I would make a wonderful addition to just about any home.

I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
