Hi my name is Shortleaf!

I am approximately two years old and weigh just 9 pounds—perfectly pint-sized and easy to scoop up for extra snuggles! My people think I may be a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix, but whatever I am, I’m 100% adorable.

I am a happy, affectionate little guy who absolutely loves people. I get so excited when my humans come home—I make the perfect door greeter after a long day! I also love being picked up and carried around…honestly, I think that’s exactly where I belong.

I have a soft spot for cats and enjoy watching them and being around them (as long as they’re friendly with me). I do well with other dogs too, but I can get a little nervous if one rushes up too quickly. I’m a small guy with a big personality, so I’m not afraid to stand my ground—even with the big dogs!

At night, I love cuddling up with my favorite little stuffed animal. I’m also a big fan of giving kisses, so be ready for lots of love!

I’m house trained and kennel trained, and I’ll definitely let you know when I need to go potty—I’m not much of a barker otherwise. I walk nicely on a leash and would love to join you on adventures, whether that’s a stroll around the neighborhood, a hike, or even a trip to the beach.

I am neutered, microchipped (with prepaid lifetime registration), and up to date on all my vaccines including DHPP, rabies, bordetella, and flu.

I’m ready to find my forever family—one that will love me, carry me, and let me shower them with kisses. Could that be you?
