Good with dogs? Bailey Ann enjoys playing with other dogs who are open to interaction. She’s happy to engage in play but also does well in a mixed dog household with different energy levels. She walks well on lead and is interested and friendly.
Good with cats? Not Tested, but based on notes from a prior foster, she would not be a good fit for a home with cats, and may chase other small animals such as squirrels, bunnies and birds.
Good with kids? Not Tested, but based on notes from a prior foster, she has done well with kids.
Energy level: Medium to High. She is an active, playful pup who loves to run, play and stay engaged. She enjoys fetch, playing with other dogs, toys, and interactive time with her people. She has that classic Husky energy and would thrive in an active home with a yard. She loves toys and can entertain herself, but also enjoys interactive play like tug-of-war and fetchy. She’s especially engaged with playing with her people or other dogs.
Animal Characteristics: Bailey Ann incredibly affectionate, loving, and full of personality. She’s a total cuddle bug who loves being close to her people and giving kisses to both her humans and her doggie friends. She has a playful, goofy side and classic Husky-mix spunk alongside a very gentle and sweet nature. She’s a super gentle treat taker and loves ice cubes. She’s the kind of dog who loves hard, enjoys being part of the action, and thrives on connection and attention. Bailey Ann is a great mix of puppy playfulness and growing maturity. She is very smart, knows the basic commands, and has a pretty solid recall foundation. She is potty trained and good at riding in a car. She learns quickly and is eager to please. Like all young dogs, Bailey Ann should continue her training so that she develops good manners. Right now, she does jump up with excitement, but is not much of a barker. She likes to meet new people and is friendly with familiar and new faces. At home, she’s very comfortable with being handled, but she’s shown fear and stress at veterinary visits, and may struggle with some new environments that are scary. Overall, Bailey Ann is a confident and happy dog in day-to-day life. She may just need a patient, understanding approach in certain new or unfamiliar situations. She is a super smart, loving, fun dog who thrives with an active family that will keep her both physically and mentally engaged. Bailey Ann is a wonderful companion who just wants to love, be loved, and be part of the family.
