DESCRIPTION

Hi, Elton! I'm about 5 months old and I came from an overcrowded shelter in California with my two siblings, Bowie and Joni. Now I'm ready to find a forever family of my very own!

My foster says I’m a happy, easygoing pup who adjusts well to just about anything. I have a medium energy level — I love playing with other dogs, people, and toys, but I also settle down quickly and am perfectly content hanging out on the patio, watching movies, or relaxing around the house with you.

I’m very social with other dogs and love having canine friends to play with. I’m also great with kids and have done really well meeting new people out in public. I’ve been tagging along on errands with my foster, and I’m excellent in the car — I usually curl up and fall asleep. I also have the cutest little vocal yawns that make everyone laugh!

I’m doing amazing with potty training and am very close to pro status. I’ll let you know when I need to go outside by pacing or whining, and I haven’t had an accident all week. I sleep through the night, whether that’s in my kennel or curled up on the bed. I’m happy either way!

I’m a smart boy who already knows sit, down, and kennel, and I’m working hard on even more skills like polite door manners and stopping to sit before crossing the street on walks. I walk beautifully on a leash and don’t pull. Bath time is easy for me, and I absolutely love splashing around in the dog pool.

When it comes to cuddles, I’m more of a “hang out nearby” kind of guy. I’ll snuggle for a few minutes if you pull me close, but I’m also perfectly happy resting at your feet while you go about your day.

If you’re looking for a friendly, adaptable, playful puppy who’s ready to be your adventure buddy and best friend, I’d love to meet you!

My adoption fee is $400, plus a refundable $100 deposit once you provide proof of spay/neuter. Please note: All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “Needs Experienced Adopter.” Northern breeds like me often have higher exercise, training, and care needs. If you’re new to Huskies or similar breeds, we highly recommend doing a bit of research before applying. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply to adopt me today!
