Dragonfly - Husky and Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Columbia, South Carolina

Meet Dragonfly! This beautiful 2 year old husky mix (see dna results) was surrendered to us over one year ago through no fault of her own. After 14 months in our care, most of that in foster, Fly has blossomed from a terrified baby to a more confident, playful, loving companion! She is looking for a life with older children, long walks, and dedicated adopters willing to continue her professional training to help her adjust to her new life.

Fly has gone through many months of training with professionals already, and knows a wide variety of commands (trainer eval available upon request). She is scared of young people and newcomers initially, but after the proper introductions, she learns they are safe! She is housetrained, crate trained, and very well mannered inside. She does well with other dogs and cats, and her trainer is committed to helping her new family with the adjustment period and continued services! She also has a reduced adoption fee! This sparkling gem of a dog is ready to FINALLY find her perfect home!
