Elrond is a kitten who was born with confidence and one of the most absolutely adoring and friendly hearts you could ever ask for! Toy basket? His fave! Your lap? Yes, please! Sunbeam on the floor? All his and clearly placed there specifically for him. He is confident, playful, affectionate, and carrying around an almost nonstop V8 purr engine in his tiny body. Estimated to be just a kitten and fully committed to making life more entertaining, Elrond is an all-black kitten with subtle tortoiseshell shimmer woven through his coat that shows up beautifully in the sunlight. It gives him this warm, hidden glow that makes him even harder to stop staring at.

Elrond is being fostered in a loving home with other cats as well as a medium to large sized dog, and his foster shared that he absolutely loves playing with the dog. He already shows really lovely dog-savvy instincts and seems naturally comfortable sharing space respectfully, which makes us think he could do wonderfully in a home with a cat-friendly dog that understands appropriate boundaries. He approaches pretty much everything with curiosity and confidence and settles into new situations with an ease that is genuinely impressive for such a young kitten.

He is wonderfully playful in that classic kitten way where absolutely everything has the potential to become a game. Toys, shoelaces, imaginary objects only he can see, all fair game. But what really makes him special is how affectionate he is alongside all that playful energy. His purr starts almost instantly the second you touch him, like the tiny engine was already running and just needed permission to get louder. He gives affection freely, seeks out companionship naturally, and has that easy, connected personality that makes him feel instantly familiar.

Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, VT, CT, VA, NY, PA, OH, MN, WI, IL, IN, KY, TN, MD, NC, SC & Canada (Canadian adopter must pick up in Washington state i.e. Bellingham, WA or closest U.S stop)! Our cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful private bus, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you!

The adoption fee is $600 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
