Diesel - Hound and Boxer Dog for Adoption in Youngsville, North Carolina

(DOB 01/01/2026) Diesel is truly the sweetest boy with so much love to give. He absolutely adores his humans and loves them unconditionally. He's wonderful with children and what kid wouldn't love rubbing his big hound-y ears? Plus, he's always happy to soak up as many belly rubs as you're willing to give!

Diesel does well with other dogs, but he's also perfectly content entertaining himself with his toys, chewing on a favorite bone, or curling up on a dog bed or couch with his stuffed animal. He doesn't need constant excitement, he's just happy being near the people he loves. He'd love his forever home to have a fenced in yard for him and his playmates (doggie or kiddos) to romp and have a good 'ole time!

He can be a little sad when his person leaves the room or when it's time to go into his crate and may cry for a few minutes. But within about five minutes, he settles down and is content relaxing with his bone or stuffed animal.

What Diesel really needs is a family of his own; someone who works from home, who will love him, take him on walks and car rides (he does love those), let him be part of their everyday adventures, and give him the security of knowing he's home. Diesel has such a gentle, loving heart. He's the kind of dog who just wants to be someone's best friend, and he deserves a family who will love him just as much as he will love them.

As part of Diesel's $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
