Izzy entered our rescue in August needing a LOT of TLC. She was originally found as a stray laying in the road in TN and was brought to one of our shelter partners. It was discovered that she had a shattered pelvis. With the help of two incredible temporary fosters, we were able to pull her from the shelter to have her further evaluated. It was discovered that she had an infection in her bone and to prevent it from spreading, we opted to amputate her leg quickly. She had another small fracture in her other hind leg, which healed up with crate rest and pain meds.

Izzy is now 6 months post-op but has had absolutely no interest and we cant figure out why. She is a very loving girl who is up for any adventure, but very level headed and chill. She doesnt know a stranger and is sure to greet anyone she meets with tail wags and kisses!
