Background

Clover was rescued from Northern Manitoba with help from our partners at K( Advocacy Manitoba. Clover has adapted amazingly well to condo life in the city and quickly became a neighbourhood favourite, earning compliments everywhere she goes!


Personality

Clover is an outgoing, affectionate, and friendly girl who loves meeting people and making new friends. She's been wonderful with children, from young kids to teenagers, and enjoys spending time with other dogs.
She's playful and energetic but also knows how to settle down once the fun is over. She's curious about the world around her and loves being included in whatever her people are doing!


Ideal Home

Clover would love an active family who can include her in walks, adventures, playtime, and family activities. She can happily live in a city, suburb, or rural setting as long as she gets proper exercise and enrichment. A fenced yard would be a bonus but not required!
Clover is the ultimate love bug and would do well with dog savvy children and potentially another dog sibling as she enjoys meeting and playing with other dogs in a structured environment but she is exhibiting some signs of prey drive so would likely not do well with cats or other small animals.


Training & Activity

Clover is a smart girl who already knows sit, come, stay, and "no!" and has a good recall, especially when treats are involved. She's doing great with her crate and willingly settles inside.
She is working on her house training and and leash manners, she can get very excited to go on her walks and is still trying to figure out what a "leash" is but she is making progress every day and walks are her favourite!
Clover loves neighbourhood walks, hikes, playing with other dogs, puzzle toys, and independent play. She's an energetic puppy who will thrive with daily exercise, mental stimulation, and continued positive training. She can also easily settle and loves to take long puppy naps and does very well on car rides!


Summary

Clover is a social butterfly with a big personality! She's affectionate, playful, great with kids, curious about the world, and already winning hearts everywhere she goes. She's still learning her puppy manners, but she's smart, adaptable, easy going and making huge progress every day! Clover loves her people hard and is ready to find her family who will shower her with love and cuddles and include her in all their adventures and continue to help her grow into the best pup she can be!
