Meet this handsome 2-year-old Bo!

This sweet boy is a big cuddle bug who loves his people and has so much love to give. Once he gets comfortable with you, he enjoys snuggling up and being close, and he has a silly, playful side that will keep you smiling.

He is still learning about the world and, like many young dogs, he needs a patient, experienced adopter with a calm home who is willing to continue working with him and help him become the best version of himself. He can be a little unsure of new people, so slow introductions are important. A few treats and some patience can go a long way in helping him make new friends!

He does have some separation anxiety and is working on learning that being alone is okay. He can be dog-reactive, so we are looking for a home without another dog. He appears interested in cats, although he can be overly excited and may chase them, so any kitty friends would need careful introductions and supervision.

We are looking for an adopter who understands dog behavior and will respect his boundaries. Bo does best when allowed to approach and show interest in cuddling first.

He would thrive with someone who has previous dog experience, patience, structure, and a willingness to continue his training.

This boy isn't looking for a perfect home—he's looking for the right home. A home where someone will give him time, respect his boundaries, celebrate his progress, and show him that he is safe and loved.
