DESCRIPTION
Meet Sprout!
Sprout is a big dog in a little body. She is 10 months old and loves everyone. She didn't have much training, but is an open book and very food motivated.
You see, she was found as a stray, very emaciated (only 10.8 lb). The next day she broke with parvo, and was so filled with worms, she needed a transfusion before they could even start the parvo treatment. It truly is a miracle that she made it through!
After about a month, she is now almost 25 lb and a healthy, happy puppy - living her best life. Her final step is finding the perfect furever family to work with her to help her be the perfect dog.
ABOUT: HOUND DOG BREED
The hound dog breed is a diverse group known for their incredible hunting abilities and keen sense of smell. These dogs are esteemed for their athleticism, endurance, and loyalty, making them excellent companions for active individuals and families alike. With a rich history of assisting hunters in tracking and trailing game, hounds possess a strong prey drive and a distinctive bay when on the hunt. Hounds come in various sizes and coat types, each with its unique characteristics, but they all share a remarkable intelligence and a friendly disposition.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
