Lily - Hound Dog for Adoption in Foley, Alabama

Hi, I am Lily! I am a 1-year-old, 35lb Hound mix, and I am one happy, energetic girl who is ready to find my forever family. I am completely house trained, leash trained and great with other dogs. I can be a little sassy during first greetings with other dogs, but I warm up quickly and am ready to play once we get acquainted! When it comes to people, I never met a stranger. I am super friendly and love making new friends.

My journey has not been an easy one. I came into the shelter with a terrible wound on my front right leg, with the bone exposed. My leg could not be saved, so it was amputated. But being a tripod has not slowed me down one bit! I run, play and keep up with the best of them. My fur is still shaved down from surgery, but it is growing back and soon I will be looking as fabulous on the outside as I feel on the inside. Videos of me showing off my Zoomies, playing and showing everyone that three legs are no big deal are available upon request!

I am an active, loving girl who would make a wonderful companion for a family ready for a fun and affectionate pup. I do enjoy chasing squirrels, so I will need someone who appreciates my Hound instincts. I am not sure how I feel about cats, but I can be cat tested upon request. I will come fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. I am ready to show my forever family that three legs are all I need to live life to the fullest!
