Princess (or Peach) is the kind of dog who wants to be wherever you are. She's a loyal, low-key companion happiest curled up on the couch beside her people, watching the world go by from the window, or supervising a cozy movie night at home. While she enjoys attention and affection, she's not especially interested in toys, long walks, or adventures out on the town-Peach is proudly a homebody.
She takes her job as household protector very seriously and will absolutely let you know if someone is approaching the house or if another dog is making noise outside. (Great for deterring solicitors, less great for shared walls) But the second someone actually comes inside, she quickly decides they must be a friend and settles right down.
Peach can be selective with other dogs and would likely do best with slow introductions and respectful canine companions-or as the center of attention in her own home. She gets very excited about mealtime and currently uses a slow feeder because food is one of her favorite things in life.
She does have lifelong allergies-both food and seasonal-that will need ongoing management, and her future family should be prepared for that commitment. We're actively working on helping her feel her best and get healthier, and she deserves adopters who will continue supporting her care.
If you're looking for a calm, devoted companion who just wants to love her people and share a quiet life together, Peach may be your girl.
