Maxey - Hound Dog Available for Adoption in Center Square, Pennsylvania

Maxey is a 3-year-old mixed breed dog with a big heart & an even bigger love for his people.

At 80 to 90 pounds, he is a strong, affectionate companion who is house trained, crate trained, potty trained, neutered, microchipped, & up to date on vaccinations. He knows his basic commands, is eager to please, & is always happy to work for a treat.

Maxey loves to play ball, cuddle, & stay close to his people. He enjoys being part of the action & is happiest when he is near the people he loves, whether that means relaxing by your side or sleeping close by at night. He is loving, loyal, & friendly with both men and women, & he does well with strangers.

Maxey has a medium energy level & would do best with an experienced dog owner who understands large dogs & can give him structure, attention, & love. A fenced yard would be ideal for him.

Maxey’s relationship with his K9 brother is great. They play together every day. Outside of that bond, he has struggled with other pets & is not a good fit for a home with additional dogs or other animals. Because of this, he is looking for a home where he can be the only pet & get the focus he deserves.

He has no medical issues & does not have separation anxiety. He has been left home uncrated without problems.

Maxey will make a wonderful companion for the right person or family, someone looking for a loyal, playful, affectionate dog who wants nothing more than to be close to his people & included in daily life.
