DESCRIPTION
Hushpuppy is a 9 month old hound puppy with the sweetest personality you could ever imagine. He's a champion couch snuggler and loves nothing more than curling up in a little ball right at your side. We believe Hushpuppy will be around 50 lbs at full size, but no guarantees.
Hushpuppy is a typical hound puppy. His antics and goofy attitude are a constant source of amusement. He loves going on adventures with his people, sniffing new places, and playing with other dog friends. He would do well in an active home, and would love another playful dog to spend his days with.
Even though he is a hound, he isn't too loud and is quiet in the house. He has a funny little high-pitched bay when he smells squirrels outside that doesn't seem to match his body.
This boy is super smart! He's potty trained and sleeps in his crate at night and for most of his nap times. He learns commands very fast and thrives with structure and positive reinforcement. He is happy to go for car rides and has been practicing being in crowded public spaces.
If you're looking for a sweet, intelligent pack member and adventure buddy, Hushpuppy may be your guy!
ABOUT: HOUND DOG BREED
The hound dog breed is a diverse group known for their incredible hunting abilities and keen sense of smell. These dogs are esteemed for their athleticism, endurance, and loyalty, making them excellent companions for active individuals and families alike. With a rich history of assisting hunters in tracking and trailing game, hounds possess a strong prey drive and a distinctive bay when on the hunt. Hounds come in various sizes and coat types, each with its unique characteristics, but they all share a remarkable intelligence and a friendly disposition.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
