DESCRIPTION
Addy is a gentle, soulful girl who's been winning hearts with her sweet nature. Addy
would love nothing more than to be your shadow, ideally on a cozy dog bed near your feet.
In her foster home Addy has been enjoying multiple sniffy strolls per day, snoozing in sunny spots, and checking in with her person for some tail-wagging affection. She's reported as curious and friendly when meeting new people.
Addy has been sleeping through the night, exploring stairs with growing confidence, and slowly picking up on routines. While she's still figuring out toys (and might not be sold on them yet), she absolutely lights up for treats and ear scratches!
Addy's ideal home is one that's calm, loving, and patient-where she can continue to blossom at her own pace and continue in her training.
If you're looking for a quiet companion with a heart full of potential and soft hound eyes that will melt yours-Addy might just be your girl.
Addy weighs 60 pounds.
ABOUT: HOUND DOG BREED
The hound dog breed is a diverse group known for their incredible hunting abilities and keen sense of smell. These dogs are esteemed for their athleticism, endurance, and loyalty, making them excellent companions for active individuals and families alike. With a rich history of assisting hunters in tracking and trailing game, hounds possess a strong prey drive and a distinctive bay when on the hunt. Hounds come in various sizes and coat types, each with its unique characteristics, but they all share a remarkable intelligence and a friendly disposition.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
