DESCRIPTION
Meet Gin Rummy (aka Ginny)
Graceful, gentle, and oh-so-sweet-if you've ever thought you'd love having a little deer as a pet, Ginny is about as close as it gets. This easygoing hound mix has a soft, friendly nature and is wonderfully submissive with both people and other dogs. She's the kind of girl who just wants to get along with everyone-and she does! Ginny has been great with adults, children, and her doggy friends, happily joining in for playtime in the yard or simply soaking up the moment.
She loves to run, stretch those long legs, and enjoy the outdoors, but she's just as easy to love when things slow down. Ginny is curious about cats and finds them very interesting, though we're still learning exactly how she feels about them.
Ginny came to us very pregnant, but now that mom life is behind her, it's finally her turn to be the center of attention and start her next chapter
Sweet, gentle, and full of quiet charm, Ginny is ready for a forever home where she can be loved, cherished, and maybe do a few graceful zoomies along the way
ABOUT: HOUND DOG BREED
The hound dog breed is a diverse group known for their incredible hunting abilities and keen sense of smell. These dogs are esteemed for their athleticism, endurance, and loyalty, making them excellent companions for active individuals and families alike. With a rich history of assisting hunters in tracking and trailing game, hounds possess a strong prey drive and a distinctive bay when on the hunt. Hounds come in various sizes and coat types, each with its unique characteristics, but they all share a remarkable intelligence and a friendly disposition.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
