Jessie is a 1-year-old Havanese weighing 12 lbs who is beginning a brand new chapter after life as a breeder release 💛🐶

When Jessie arrived, she was severely matted and had to be shaved down to the skin for her comfort and care. Despite everything she’s been through, she is now safe and slowly learning what it means to be loved and cared for.

Jessie is dog friendly and would do best in a patient, understanding home that will allow her time to decompress and build confidence at her own pace. She is still learning that people can be trusted and that life in a home can be safe and comforting.

Because of her past, Jessie will need continued support with potty training and adjusting to everyday routines. A calm environment, consistency, and kindness will help her continue to blossom.

Jessie may be shy at first, but with patience and love, she has the potential to become a wonderful companion 🐾✨
