Meet Caddie! 🐾

Caddie is a 5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who is a breeder release and just beginning to learn that people can be safe and kind. She is a very shy, sensitive girl who will need a patient, quiet, and understanding home to help her build trust at her own pace 💛
Right now, Caddie can be fearful and may shake when approached, but she does find comfort in being held and will begin to relax after a few minutes once she feels secure. She is not yet confident enough to come to people on her own and will need gentle encouragement and consistency as she continues to gain confidence.
Caddie is dog friendly and does well with crate training, keeping her space clean. She is currently being carried outside for potty breaks and is making slow, steady progress. She is truly a “slow bloom” dog who will require time, patience, and a calm environment—but she is already showing small signs of trust in her foster home.
From her foster: “Once she feels safe, she stops shaking and starts to settle. She just needs time and kindness.”
Caddie is currently in foster care, and meet & greets will be arranged with approved applicants. She is looking for a home that understands her background and is committed to helping her feel safe, loved, and secure.
