Meet Buttercup, a 1-year-old Havanese mix weighing approximately 15 pounds. This sweet, playful girl loves making new friends and spreading smiles (and doggy kisses!) wherever she goes. She enjoys racing around the house with her energetic zoomies, and once shes burned off some energy, shes happiest curled up on the couch or snuggled in bed beside her favorite humans.
Buttercup is a smart, eager-to-please pup who quickly learned how to use the dog door at her foster home. She's still working on understanding that the dog door isnt just for playtime out side its also for potty breaks. She's not food aggressive, but she is highly food motivated, which can be a great training tool as she continues learning her house manners.
Buttercup loves being with her people and does not enjoy being crated or left alone. She isn't shy about expressing her opinion and will let you know when shed rather be by your side. On the other hand, when shes happy, shell greet you with adorable howls and a wagging tail.
She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys getting out for daily strolls. Buttercup would thrive in a home with other friendly dogs, respectful children, and a securely fenced yard where she can safely play and explore.
