OH. MY. GOSH. Is that a BALL?!
Im pretty sure thats a ball. Can I have it? Please? Sorry, I got distracted... I LOVE BALLS! They are pretty much my favorite thing in the whole world.

My name is Honey, but my friends call me Honey Bear. Im a happy, funny girl with a BIG personality, and I absolutely love toys, food, attention and — did I mention? — BALLS!

I like being the center of attention. If I feel like youve forgotten that important fact, dont worry... Ill bark and remind you!

Ive had a bit of a journey medically. I was born with hip dysplasia and have had surgery on both hips — my left hip on August 7, 2025, and my right hip on March 10, 2026. Because of this, my hips can always be sensitive, so I need someone who understands that I must be handled gently and respectfully.

Sometimes I just dont want to be touched, and I need my person to recognize and respect those moments. I can growl or nip if Im uncomfortable, especially during things like nail trims, brushing or ear cleaning, so using a muzzle for grooming and certain handling is important for everyones safety.

Now, if you happen to have my beloved ball nearby, you may suddenly discover Im much more interested in negotiating!

And FOOD? Ohhhh, I love food! Ill do just about anything for a treat. I eat a little too enthusiastically, so I use a slow feeder, which helps me tremendously.

Im your typical bulldog — which means I can be stubborn with a capital S! I need a confident person who is even more determined than I am and will give me consistent rules, structure and boundaries. When I know whats expected of me, I can do wonderfully.

Im potty trained, but I LOVE drinking water, so I need extra potty breaks to help prevent accidents.

Im also a bit of a loner and would prefer to be your one and only dog. I dont need a pack of canine friends. What I really want is a person who understands me, respects my boundaries, and loves me for exactly who I am.

I may not be the dog for everyone — but I dont need everyone.

I just need that one special person willing to give me a chance to capture their heart.
