Meet Greta, a 3 & a half-year-old black-and-white purebred Havanese with a soft coat, soulful eyes, and the perfect little lap-dog size at just 10 pounds.

If theres one thing to know about Greta, its this: she is a true companion dog through and through. Gretas favorite place in the world is curled up beside her person, tucked into a lap, or snuggled close for comfort. She bonds deeply with her people and will happily become your tiny shadow and trusted sidekick.

Greta is by and large a quiet little dog who prefers cuddles over chaos. While she may occasionally let another dog know when shed like a little personal space, she does well with dogs of all sizes and has also done well with cats. She would likely be happiest either as a spoiled only dog or paired with another calm, confident small dog who can help her feel secure.

Greta can be shy when first meeting new people and needs a little time to warm up. The fastest way to her heart is a cozy lap and some tasty treats. Once she trusts you, though, she is incredibly loving, loyal, and affectionate.

She didnt receive much formal training earlier in life, but Greta is making great progress in foster care. Shes learned that sit earns treats, has been walking nicely on a leash and harness, and is adjusting well to life routines. True to her Havanese nature, this clever girl is surprisingly agile and can absolutely navigate her way through obstacles if it means getting closer to her person.

Greta is still working on potty training, as it appears she did not have much consistency with it before coming into rescue. However, she is crate trained, sleeps quietly in her crate overnight, and keeps it clean without accidents.

Greta is not a perfect dog, but she is a deeply loving, beautiful little companion whose affectionate nature far outweighs her imperfections. Shes ready to find a forever family who will give her the patience, love, and security she deserves in return for endless cuddles and devotion.

Greta is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
