Havanese and Staffordshire Bull Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Clatskanie, Oregon

This is Henry, and, no, he is NOT a Jack Russell terrier. The shelter thought he was a terrier, and he is definitely a low rider - 12 inches at the shoulder and 18 pounds total (long back) - but his DNA test came back Havanese and Staffie (with some other small breeds mixed in). Henry is about 18 months old and was picked up as a stray with a shattered left hind patella.
Henry has had full fracture repair by an orthopedic specialist and is good to go for a long and (very) active life. This guy is high energy and loves to run and wrestle and hike miles, but he has also learned to wait patiently for his people in an x-pen or crate at horse shows.
Henry is house and crate trained, and he rides well in the car. He can be a bit leash-reactive with other dogs, but off leash he is the world's best friend. He ADORES all humans. He has some basic obedience skills under his belt, but he IS young and still impulsive, so continued positive reinforcement classes would be a bonus for Henry.
An ideal home would be active and hiking or dog sports-oriented with another rambunctious dog buddy for Henry to run and play with. Secure fencing a must. NO cats. Older dog-smart children would be just fine.
Henry is in foster care in lower mainland BC. His adoption fee is $200.
