Meet Arthur

Arthur is only 6 months old, but he is already the definition of a gentle giant. He is expected to be over 100 pounds when fully grown, but despite his size, Arthur is one of the most gentle, calm, and loving dogs you will ever meet.

Arthur is very shy when he first meets new people. He needs someone who will give him a little time and patience to realize he is safe. Once he warms up, you get to see the incredibly sweet and loving puppy underneath. Watching him come out of his shell and learn to trust you is something really special.

One of the cutest things about Arthur is his huge feet. He hasn't quite figured out how to use them yet, so watching this giant puppy run around and play while trying to coordinate those big paws is pretty adorable. He still has a lot of growing to do, and sometimes it seems like his feet are growing faster than the rest of him.

Arthur absolutely LOVES other animals. He loves playing with other dogs, does great with cats, and is comfortable around horses. Having another friendly dog around would be wonderful for him because he truly comes alive when he gets to run, play, and spend time with his dog friends.

Even though Arthur loves running around and playing with his toys, he is surprisingly calm and easygoing for such a young puppy. He is already kennel trained and house trained.

And if there is one thing Arthur takes very seriously, it is food. This growing boy LOVES to eat and can definitely put away some dog food.

We truly believe Arthur would thrive in a farm or ranch home, especially one with other animals and plenty of room for him to explore and run. More than anything, he needs a patient family who understands that his shy personality doesn't mean he doesn't want love. He just needs a little time to feel comfortable enough to show you how much love he has to give.

Arthur isn't the puppy who will necessarily run straight into a stranger's arms. He's the puppy who makes you earn his trust, and once you do, you've gained one of the sweetest and gentlest companions you could ask for.

He is still just a baby with his whole life ahead of him. Arthur is ready for someone to give this big, sweet boy the home, patience, and love he deserves.
