Meet Buddy (fostered in St. Paul, MN)!
Buddy is a playful, athletic, 7-month-old puppy who loves food, loves zoomies, loves playing with other dogs, and loves being close to his humans. He bonds quickly and wants nothing more than to be in the mix of whatever's going on. Are you in the workshop? So is he. Taking a shower? He'll lie on the tile and keep you company.
Buddy currently lives with four other dogs with a wide range of temperaments, and he quickly learned how to engage with each of them. He takes direction and redirection well, and in just a few days he learned and adapted to the routine at his foster home—a great sign for how easily he'll settle into his forever home.
He entertains himself easily with rope toys, Kongs, and rubber treat balls. He's housetrained (just give him yard access), walks well on leash and cuts a dashing figure around the neighborhood with his striking black-and-white tuxedo markings.
While Buddy doesn't currently live with kids or cats, his previous foster reported he was great with kids—he was often walked by them—and gave the household cats a respectful, wide berth. He's crate-trained (though not exactly a fan) and currently sleeps and eats in his crate.
All in all, Buddy is an adaptable, good-natured dog with many years of love and companionship to share.
