Hi, I’m Liza!

I’m a gentle mama who has been through a lot, and now I’m hoping to find something I’ve never really had—a family to call my own.

When I first arrived at the rescue, everything felt scary. Boarding was especially overwhelming for me, and I needed time to understand that I was finally safe. Thankfully, I’m now living in a foster home with two dogs and several human siblings who are helping me learn how wonderful life in a home can be.

Every day, I’m learning to trust, unwind, and let my sweet personality shine. I’m even learning how to play! I’m a gentle, loving girl, and one of my favorite things is getting belly rubs from my people.

I’m also adjusting to my family’s routine and learning that nighttime is for sleeping. I’m working hard to reset my schedule so I can rest peacefully along with everyone else. With patience, reassurance, and consistency, I’m making progress.

I’ll need a home with a tall, secure fence where I can feel safe as I continue gaining confidence. Most of all, I need a patient and loving family who will give me the time I need to fully blossom.

Sometimes the sweetest souls just need someone to believe in them. Could you be the one to show me what it feels like to truly belong?
