Every season of Survivor has that contestant who somehow becomes everyone's favorite. They're funny. They're charming. They make friends with absolutely everybody. And that is Jesse to a T. If this were the actual game of Survivor, Jesse wouldn't need hidden immunity idols or elaborate blindsides. He'd simply make everyone like him so much they'd forget voting him out was even an option. Jesse has fully embraced the philosophy that life is simply better when you're with your people. While some puppies are off conducting important independent puppy business, Jesse is busy asking a much more important question: "Whose lap is currently available?" If the answer is "yours," congratulations. What makes Jesse so special is how effortlessly social he is. He doesn't spend time wondering whether people are trustworthy or if today is the right day to make a new friend. Whether you've known him for five minutes or five days, Jesse approaches life with the confidence of someone who believes the world is full of kind people just waiting to love a fluffy puppy. He's the puppy who will happily crawl into your lap during movie night, supervise your work-from-home meetings, "help" fold laundry, and remind you daily that companionship is pretty darn amazing.

Jesse Lopez is a 6-week-old, 13-pound male Great Pyrenees/potential Anatolian Shepherd mix. Mom certainly looks like a purebred Great Pyrenees, but Dad has successfully remained one of rescue's greatest unsolved mysteries. Somewhere out there he's living life completely unaware that an entire rescue has questions. Until he decides to appear for the reunion episode, "potential Anatolian Shepherd mix" is the best answer we've got. Jesse came to rescue alongside his incredible mama, Carolyn, and all of his siblings after their little tribe found themselves abandoned with nowhere safe to go. Based on his current growth, we'd estimate Jesse will probably mature somewhere around 80-90 pounds...give or take. Can we promise you an exact adult weight? Sure.....just as soon as Jeff Probst hands us the hidden immunity idol that predicts the future. One thing we don't have to guess is the kind of dog Jesse is becoming. He's affectionate, social, incredibly people-oriented, and already proving that his favorite place in the world isn't a particular room or a favorite toy...It's wherever his humans happen to be. Honestly, we'd say that's a strategy capable of winning just about anyone's heart.

Jesse has apparently come to one very important conclusion about life: The more friends, the better. When it comes to other dogs, he's all in. He's been lucky enough to spend plenty of time with Katmai, the incredibly patient and gentle resident "auntie," and Jesse thinks she's basically the greatest thing since puppy mush. He and his siblings climb all over her, play with her, and generally treat her exactly the way they treat their own mama—which, thankfully, Katmai tolerates with the patience of a kindergarten teacher on the last day of school. Then there's Parker. Parker has also met the puppies, but unlike Katmai, he isn't entirely convinced that being followed by thirteen pounds of enthusiastic fluff everywhere he goes is the reward challenge he signed up for. Jesse, however, has completely missed those social cues and insists on being his little shadow. Like most puppies, Jesse has absolutely no concept of his own size compared to the adult dogs. In his mind, they're simply bigger friends who have undoubtedly been waiting for him to arrive and improve their day. Cats remain one of the few mysteries left on Jesse's island. He hasn't officially met one yet, but given his personality, we're fairly confident he'd assume they're just oddly shaped puppies with unusually dramatic opinions. At only six weeks old, he's at a wonderful age to learn respectful interactions with feline roommates, though we suspect his opening move would involve an enthusiastic invitation to play. Whether the cat RSVP's "yes" is another matter entirely. Kids? Jesse hasn't had the opportunity to meet any yet, but based on everything we've seen, we'd be genuinely surprised if he didn't adore them. This is one social little puppy. Of course, as with any puppy, we'd always encourage teaching both children and Jesse how to interact respectfully with one another. Puppies are learning, kids are learning, and together they can become an incredible team.

Jesse's energy level lands right around a 5 out of 10. What really makes Jesse stand out, though, isn't his energy level. It's his people skills. If Survivor handed out an award for "Best Social Game," Jesse would already have the trophy sitting on the mantel. This boy absolutely loves people. Not in a "Hey, nice to meet you!" kind of way. More like... "Hi! We've known each other for approximately thirty-seven seconds, and I've decided you're my emotional support human." Jesse is, hands down, the most social puppy in the litter. He's the kind of puppy who doesn't just tolerate being held—he actively campaigns for it. The moment you scoop him up, he's already climbing higher, curling into your lap, and settling in like he's signed a long-term lease. Personal space? Jesse believes that's a myth invented by people who don't own Great Pyrenees. There's something incredibly special about a puppy who simply wants to be close to his people. Jesse isn't demanding. He isn't needy. He just genuinely enjoys being with the humans he loves, and he's happiest when he's part of whatever you're doing. Jesse has the makings of the kind of dog people dream about—social, affectionate, easy to love, and completely devoted to his family.

Now, like every Survivor contestant, Jesse still has a few challenges to conquer. Potty training is one of the biggest. Right now he's just beginning to understand that humans have very strong opinions about where bathrooms belong. Leash training should be a fun adventure, too. At this stage, the leash is basically a weird spaghetti noodle that's somehow attached to him. Basic obedience is another journey you'll take together. Jesse is a bright little guy, but remember—he's also part Great Pyrenees. These are dogs who don't simply hear commands...they evaluate them. You'll say, "Come!" and Jesse may reply, "I'd absolutely love to...right after I finish saying hello to literally everyone within a fifty-foot radius." Positive reinforcement, patience, consistency, and making training fun will help him become the amazing companion he's already showing signs of being. Socialization is going to be one of Jesse's favorite reward challenges because, frankly, he already thinks making friends is a competitive sport. Continuing to introduce him to friendly people, polite dogs, different environments, new sounds, car rides, surfaces, and everyday adventures will help him grow into the confident, well-rounded gentle giant he's meant to be. His natural love for people is one of his greatest strengths, and giving him lots of positive experiences now will only help that shine even brighter.

Well...You made it all the way to the end. Which means Jesse has probably already decided you're one of his people. Congratulations. You didn't even know you were being recruited into an alliance and now you cannot imagine your life without him. The truth is, Jesse is one of those once-in-a-while puppies who just makes life brighter. If you're selected, your final reward challenge is a road trip to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where Jesse will be patiently waiting to climb directly into your lap like he's been planning it all along. Now, before anyone asks... No, Jesse cannot be overnighted. He cannot be shipped with Amazon Prime. UPS said, "Absolutely not." FedEx saw "13-pound puppy becoming an 80-pound floof" and quietly closed the file. Jeff Probst continues to ignore our repeated requests to personally hand-deliver puppies while saying, "The tribe has spoken." Honestly, we're beginning to think he's screening our calls.

The Anatolian Shepherd is a large and powerful ancient breed known for its loyalty, intelligence, and protective nature.
