Lucy - Great Pyrenees and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Huntsville, Alabama

Lucy is a sweet Great Pyrenees mix who is looking for a patient, understanding person to help her build confidence and discover just how wonderful life can be.
Lucy can be shy and a little nervous when faced with unfamiliar people, places, or situations, so she'll do best with an adopter who is willing to give her time, patience, and plenty of encouragement. Once she feels comfortable, her gentle personality begins to shine.
Lucy has been busy raising a litter of puppies, so we haven't yet had the opportunity to introduce her to other animals here. She has lived with other dogs in a previous home, but we'll want to take introductions slowly and thoughtfully as she settles into her new life.
She is also currently working on her leash-walking skills and will need an adopter who understands that these things take time and practice.
Lucy isn't looking for someone who expects her to be perfectly confident right away. She's looking for someone who will meet her where she is, celebrate her progress, and give her the security she needs to blossom.
