Douglas is a handsome beagle mix who was pulled from Marshall County Animal Shelter and is ready to start his next chapter. We may not know much about this gentleman's past, but we're hopeful his future is filled with soft beds, kind people, tasty treats, and plenty of love.
As a true hound, Douglas enjoys following his nose and discovering where all those interesting scents might lead! He has done well in dog playgroup, which is a promising sign that he may enjoy having canine friends. His compatibility with cats and children is still unknown, so slow introductions and a little patience will be important.
Douglas is heartworm positive and has already started treatment. He'll need a family committed to helping him through this journey and giving him the care he deserves.
