08/22/26 This sweet little bun bun is Alina! Alina was brought to the shelter because her previous owner did not feel they could care for her anymore. Alina was said to be litter box trained and very comfortable with being held, although she will start kicking in anticipation when being put down. If you are not familiar with rabbit care, we highly encourage doing some research prior to adopting. Alina is used to being in an enclosure that allows her to roam. Bunnies are natural chewers, so make sure she has plenty of appropriate chews and that all wires and other things that should not be chewed are not at bunny level. Rabbits also require free access to hay and only a small measured amount of pellets a day. Alina reportedly lived with a large breed dog and did not seem to mind. In fact, the dog would try to get Alina through her enclosure and Alina would approach it curiously. So her self-preservation skills are lacking.
