DESCRIPTION
Mae Mae
Mae Mae is one of the gentle souls from our Great Pyrenees hoarding rescue, and she's still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. This sweet girl is shy and undersocialized, the kind of dog who won't rush up to greet you—but if you give her time, patience, and a calm environment, you'll start to see her quietly blossom.
Mae Mae is currently in foster with her buddy Larry, who helps her feel more confident and secure. Because of that bond, we believe she would do best in a home where Larry can come along too. Having a familiar friend by her side makes a big difference in helping her navigate new situations.
She's looking for a peaceful home—somewhere she can decompress, feel safe, and build trust at her own pace. No pressure, no expectations—just a soft place to land and someone willing to let her come around in her own time.
If you have a gentle heart, a quiet home, and the patience to let a shy dog grow into herself, Mae Mae (and Larry!) could be the perfect additions to your family.
