MEET LARRY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
Great Pyrenees | Part of the 90-Dog New Mexico Hoarding Case
Larry is a survivor of the 90-dog hoarding case in New Mexico, and he carries the deepest emotional scars. Larry is not aggressive — he is fearful and very shut down.
He will require an exceptionally patient, experienced home that understands non social to people kind of dogs. Larry is still learning that humans can be safe, and his progress happens slowly — in inches, not yards.
This is not a dog for someone looking for quick affection. Larry needs a quiet, low-pressure home where he is allowed to move at his own pace, with no expectations placed on him beyond safety and consistency.
Larry needs:
Very experienced adopter
Quiet, low-stress environment
Secure fencing
Time — lots of it
Not for first-time dog owners
Not suitable for busy or high-traffic homes
Not a livestock guardian dog
Available for adoption, foster-to-adopt, or rescue transfer
