DESCRIPTION

Meet Charlie – This sweet young female Pyrenees - Benson, NC

Charlie is a beautiful young female Great Pyrenees (or Pyr mix), believed to be 2 years old or younger. She was found as a stray and has been safely cared for by her rescuers for the past 2 weeks while they try to find her forever home.
She is a very sweet and affectionate girl once she gets comfortable. She can be skittish and fearful around new people at first, but she is friendly, not aggressive in any way, and shows no food aggression. Once she trusts you, she wants to play nonstop and loves being petted constantly.

She has been potty trained during her short time with her rescuers and does well when left in a fenced yard.

Charlie is still very puppy-like — she likes to chew on things, so she will need appropriate chew toys and some supervision. She is not comfortable on a leash yet and tends to freeze or refuse to move when one is put on, so she will need patient, positive training to help her with this. She appears healthy, eats dog food well, and has no known medical issues.

The approved adopter will be responsible for having Charlie spayed within the first 30 days of adoption.

This playful, loving young girl is ready for a patient forever family who will help her build confidence and continue learning about life in a home.
