SUNNY IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA.

Sunny was rescued from a “junkyard” in a small Oklahoma town along with his siblings, where they were living in unsafe conditions. Thankfully, they are now safe in foster care and getting the chance to grow up in a loving environment while they wait for their forever homes.

Sunny is a fun-loving, easygoing puppy who has the best mix of playful and relaxed energy. He loves squeaky toys, rolling around in the grass, being outside, and giving lots of kisses. He’s just as happy playing as he is taking a nap and lounging around. Sunny is doing great with potty training with only one accident so far and is doing well in his crate—especially when it’s covered and cozy. He is working on basic commands and can sit on command, and is also doing very well with “come” as he continues learning. Sunny is a sweet, go-with-the-flow kind of pup who listens well and is going to make an amazing addition to a lucky home.

Adoption Information: All puppies have typical energy levels and require a dedicated adopter who is willing to invest time and effort into training. While we strive to start the potty-training process, please keep in mind that puppies this age are not guaranteed to be fully house trained. This is an excellent age to introduce him to children and other animals, as early socialization is key to his development!

Sunny will be adopted under a neuter contract, with an adoption fee of $500. $100 of this fee will be reimbursed upon proof of neuter. He is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.

If you’re interested in giving Sunny his forever home, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering this sweet pup!
