DESCRIPTION
Gouda is an estimated 3/15/26 Great Pyrenees mix puppy who is already shaping up to be a wonderful companion. He loves spending time with his people but is also happy entertaining himself with toys, outdoor playtime, and wrestling with his siblings. His foster family thinks he’d enjoy having a dog sibling in his future home, especially since he does so well with his Chow Chow foster brother. Gouda also did great meeting kids.
Like most puppies, he’s currently in his “everything looks chewable” era, but he responds well to redirection and enjoys having plenty of toys to keep him busy. As with all puppies, Gouda will need continued work with house training, crate training, and basic obedience as he grows into the big dog he’s destined to become.
His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

ABOUT: GREAT PYRENEES DOG BREED
The Great Pyrenees is a majestic and noble breed known for its gentle demeanor and steadfast loyalty. Originating from the Pyrenees Mountains, these large and dignified dogs are renowned for their protective instincts and ability to work as livestock guardians. With their stunning white coats and imposing stature, Great Pyrenees exude an air of regal confidence while also possessing a gentle and affectionate nature towards their families. Their calm and composed demeanor coupled with their innate guardian instincts make them excellent companions for those seeking a devoted and majestic canine friend.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
