DESCRIPTION
Mescal is a handsome male Great Dane, approximately 2–3 years old, currently in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds. This striking boy has come a long way and is ready to find the right home where he can continue thriving. Mescal is both kennel trained and potty trained, and he generally does well with other dogs. He’s also comfortable going on outings and enjoys getting out and about with his people. Mescal has completed professional training through a board-and-train program, where he gained a great deal of confidence and learned valuable skills that have helped him grow into a more balanced and secure dog. Because Mescal can be protective in the home, he will do best with a confident adopter who has large-breed experience or prior training experience. A home with older children (around 14 and up) would be the best fit for his comfort level. With clear leadership, structure, and continued guidance, Mescal truly shines and forms strong bonds with his people. Mescal is searching for that special person who understands him and is ready to continue helping him live his very best life — a home where he can feel secure, appreciated, and part of the family.
