🐾 MEET MILES! 🐾
Miles’ story started with uncertainty—he was sadly dumped alongside two other Great Danes in a neighborhood. Thankfully, they were brought into Harris County shelter, and Great Dane Rescue of Southeast Texas (GDRST) stepped in to give all three a second chance.
Now it’s Miles’ turn to find the loving home he truly deserves. 💙
Miles is estimated to be 12–18 months old and is everything you’d want in a companion—friendly, affectionate, and great with both people and other dogs. We’re not sure how he does with cats just yet.
He is current on vaccines, microchipped, and will be neutered in the coming weeks. While we believe he may be a Great Dane mix, his exact lineage is a mystery—but his sweet personality is crystal clear!
Miles has done wonderfully in boarding, loves mealtime, and already knows a few basic commands like sit and no. He’s eager to please and ready to keep learning.
This lovable boy would make an exceptional family dog and is ready to bring joy, loyalty, and companionship into your life.
🏡 Miles is in need of a foster or furever home. Could that be with you?
If you open your heart and home to Miles, he’ll thank you every day with unconditional love and devotion.
💙 Come meet your new best friend—Miles is waiting.

ADOPTION CONTRIBUTION FEE: $300.00
In many cases, the cost of vetting services is greater than the adoption contribution. The adoption contributions help defray the costs of vetting services, but rarely, if ever, cover all expenses. Additional donations are welcomed and appreciated. Please consider making a donation to help offset medical expenses.
To do so, please visit our website at www.saveadane.org
GDRST will have the following services completed as part of the adoption process. Each animal will be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, heartworm treated if applicable, fecal tested, de-wormed, microchipped and monthly heartworm preventative
Please note GDRST is an all-volunteer, run by individuals with full time careers. In order to meet with a Dane that you are interested in, please complete our online application. After receiving your application, a volunteer will verify with your vet the care on your current or previous animals and then contact you to set up a home eval and to discuss which Dane may be a match for you.
