Calling all Dane lovers!
Toby is a super new and cute face around the FDHS kennels, and something tells us this gentle giant won't be here long. He was recently surrendered through no fault of his own and has all of us here wrapped around his massive paw!
Toby is a big, friendly guy who loves people. All people. He's the type of guy who waltzes into a room like he's been invited, even if he hasn't... and sometimes forgets just how large he is while doing it. If you're into oversized lap dogs, he's already got the job. He's lived with other dogs before and did well, and we were told he was curious about outdoor cats but never chased them. He also LOVES car rides and is always up for tagging along on whatever adventure you've got planned.
Now, let's be honest, Toby is a lot of dog. He's very strong on leash and will need someone who can confidently handle him. He's also a bit of a fence climber, so outdoor time will need to be supervised and secure.The good news? Toby has excellent recall and responds really well to tone of voice. He wants to listen, he just needs someone who can keep up with him and help guide all that big-dog energy in the right direction.
