Austin - Goldendoodle Dog for Adoption in Shawnee, Kansas

Austin is a handsome 8-year-old Goldendoodle weighing about 80 pounds, with a soft cream-colored coat and a wonderfully easygoing personality.

Before coming to Imagine FURever Ranch, Austin was living in a busy shelter environment — and even there, he was described as “very laid back” and calm. That gentle nature has continued to shine through since arriving at The Ranch.

Austin came to us with a skin allergy that needed some attention, so before introducing him for adoption, we wanted to give him time to heal and get comfortable. He has improved significantly and is doing great! His future family will need to understand that his skin allergies may require continued monitoring and treatment to keep him feeling his best.

For the right family, that little bit of extra care will come with one very sweet payoff: Austin.

He’s an older gentleman who seems to take life in stride, and we think his calm, laid-back personality could make him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a big, lovable dog without all the puppy chaos.

Austin is ready for the next chapter — a soft place to land, people who will love him, and a FURever home where he can settle in and simply enjoy being somebody’s boy.

Could Austin be the one you’ve been waiting for?
