Dory is a 1-year-old Goldendoodle weighing approximately 40 pounds who is ready to leave her past behind and discover what it means to be a beloved family member.

When Dory arrived at Wags 2 Wishes, her coat was severely matted and had to be shaved down to the skin to provide relief and allow her a fresh start. While her appearance may not reflect the fluffy doodle she will become, her transformation is already underway.

Dory came to rescue as a breeder release and is now getting the opportunity to experience life beyond producing puppies. She is learning about kindness, comfort, and all the wonderful things that come with being part of a family.

Like many breeder-release dogs, Dory may need time to adjust to new environments, routines, and experiences. Her future family should be prepared to provide patience, guidance, and continued socialization as she gains confidence and learns how to navigate life as a cherished companion.

As her coat grows back and her confidence blossoms, we expect Dory's true personality to shine brighter every day.
