This adorable little guy loves toys, loves other dogs, loves people, and honestly just loves life. If there's a toy nearby, he's ready to play. If there's a dog nearby, he's ready to be friends. If there's a human nearby, he's probably trying to climb into their lap.

Carter is a puppy pad professional and is working hard on perfecting his outdoor potty routine. He's a smart boy and catches on quickly—especially if praise and snuggles are involved.

Speaking of snuggles... Carter is convinced that laps were invented specifically for him. His favorite places include your lap, your couch, your bed, and pretty much anywhere you're sitting. Personal space? Carter isn't familiar with that concept.

He gets along great with dogs of all sizes and has done well with cats too. Whether he's romping around with his furry friends or following his people from room to room, Carter is happiest when he's part of the family.

Now let's talk about the crate. Carter will absolutely hang out there when his foster family is away, but if he could leave a Yelp review, it would probably be something like: “Two stars. Food was decent, but I prefer sleeping in a cozy bed with my humans.”

At night, Carter sleeps like a champ in his foster family's bed. He usually wakes once for a quick bathroom break and then hops right back into bed to continue his beauty sleep.

Carter is looking for a family that will love his playful puppy antics, appreciate his championship-level cuddling skills, and maybe save him a spot on the couch for Bills games. He's got his tiny Bills Mafia heart ready and is hoping to be settled into his forever home just in time for the season opener.
