Faith - Golden Retriever and Irish Setter Dog for Adoption in Tishomingo, Oklahoma

Faith is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish her as a family member. She is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want her transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!).

Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Faith can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life. In the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Faith is never without a safety net; she will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until her perfect home is found.

Meet Faith!

Age: 1–2 years old
Gender: Female
Breed Mix: Golden Retriever (possibly a mix)

Faith is a gentle, soulful girl who is a total sweetheart in every sense of the word. She hasn't been with our rescue for very long, but she has already completely captured our hearts. She is desperate to be loved and just wants to be right by your side.

Personality & Highlights:
Wonderful with Kids & Dogs: Faith absolutely loves other dogs and is fantastic with children! She recently met a 12-month-old baby and was amazingly gentle and sweet.
Quiet & Well-Mannered: Faith is remarkably polite—she doesn't jump up on you and even knows a trick or two! She is also very quiet; in fact, we don't think we have ever heard her bark. It’s clear that someone loved her deeply at one point in her life.
Grooming Champ: She was recently professionally groomed to help get her coat back in tip-top shape after arriving with a completely matted tail. Her groomer reported that she did a fantastic job and was an absolute angel on the table!
House-Trained Habits: She is likely housebroken, as she has never had a single accident in her kennel during her time with us.
Cat Testing: Faith has not yet been tested with cats, but we can do so upon request (though given her gentle demeanor, we don't expect any issues!). Marked as good with cats since Petfinder treats unknown as a no.

Medical & Adoption Note:
Microchip: Faith was checked multiple times for a microchip upon intake and did not have one, but she will be microchipped prior to adoption.
IMPORTANT MEDICAL REQUIREMENT: Faith is heartworm positive. Please do not apply if you do not have the financial means and commitment to take her through full heartworm treatment with your veterinarian. She deserves a family ready to help her heal so she can live a long, happy life!

If you are ready to provide a loving home and the care Faith needs to thrive, she is ready to give you her whole heart in return!
