JET - Golden Retriever Dog for Adoption in Louisville, Kentucky

Jet is a beautiful 5+ year old Cream Golden. He was turned into GRRAND over a year ago by his family who said he resource guarded his food.

We immediately sent him to a behaviorist who confirmed he does have a food resource guarding trigger. She also said that it's easily managed in the right environment. He is now at the GRRAND kennel in Louisville and is doing fantastically. He is sweet, loves to be petted, takes treats gently, walks great on a leash, and knows basic commands. He is neutered, fully vetted and housetrained.

He is ready to go to the right home. He needs an experienced dog owner with a fenced back yard. Although he does play with other dogs, we do not believe he should be in a home with other animals or small children.

He is a very special boy; if you are interested in adopting him, we would have the trainer visit you to help settle him in and answer any questions you have.
