PIKE - Labrador Retriever and Golden Retriever Dog for Adoption in Louisville, Kentucky

Pike is a 4-year-old, approximately 50-pound Lab/Golden mix with a soft heart and an even softer spirit.

This girl is a Gentle Soul Ready for Her Second Chance! She came from a hoarding situation. She has waited for so long for her turn, and we are happy to report she is in a foster home and she is doing great!

The foster home reports "She is continuing to make progress and get more comfortable! Seems happy always wagging her tail and loves to spend time outside in the yard. She is great with other dogs and still a bit timid with new people, but once she knows you will warm up. She's seeking out pets from her foster mom and is confident to go upstairs!"

Pike does require a secure, above-ground fenced yard and a home without children would be best for her comfort and safety.

Pike is ready for a loving home with a family who understands that healing takes time—and who can offer the patience, compassion, and unconditional love she deserves. In return, Pike will reward you with quiet devotion and a heart full of gratitude.
