DESCRIPTION
This handsome boy is just one year-old neutered up to date on all shots and heartworm negative. He was recently adopted out by the facility. However, the family felt he was too rough with their small dogs. Not aggressive just rough play.
This boy is super sweet, very active and needs a foster or adopter. He is very willing to please and would definitely benefit from a basic obedience class. He is good with other dogs and all people. No small children simply because he is a bit rambunctious.
ABOUT: GERMAN WIREHAIRED POINTER DOG BREED
The German Wirehaired Pointer is a versatile and intelligent breed known for its distinctive wiry coat and webbed feet, making them excellent swimmers and hunters. With a strong prey drive and high energy levels, these dogs excel in various activities such as hunting, agility, and obedience. They are loyal, affectionate, and make excellent family companions with proper training and socialization. German Wirehaired Pointers require regular exercise and mental stimulation to thrive, making them a suitable choice for experienced dog owners seeking an active and devoted canine partner.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
