Meet Harlow! A Little Desert Survivor with a Heart Waiting to Blossom!

Harlow has been with us since she was a puppy, and we've watched her grow while patiently waiting for her to discover just how wonderful life can be. She's a shy girl at first, but with time and patience, she warms up. And one thing we know for sure? This girl LOVES her toys!

Harlow's story began in the desert, where she was found among a group of around 30 dogs. Her mama, who looked just like Harlow, had hidden her puppies in a hole under a hill for six weeks. We couldn't get to them during that time, so Harlow and her brother spent their earliest weeks tucked away from the world. It's understandable that they're still learning to trust people.

As for her breed, that's still a mystery! With so many dogs around, we never figured out what mix Harlow and her mama were. We'll just have to call her a one-of-a-kind desert beauty!

Harlow eventually warms up, and we have a feeling there's a whole lot more to her than we've had the chance to see. With so many dogs in our rescue, it's difficult to give each one the individual attention they deserve. We cannot wait to see her personality blossom when she has a home and family of her own.

Harlow needs someone who understands that trust doesn't happen overnight. She needs patience, kindness, and the freedom to come out of her shell at her own pace. In return, you'll have the chance to watch a once-shy girl discover the joy of being someone's beloved companion.
