Heartworm Treatment Notice: King is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment through Beauties & Beasts Rescue. An approved adopter will be required to continue the prescribed treatment plan and follow all medical guidelines. Beauties & Beasts Rescue will cover the cost of the remaining heartworm treatment as long as it is completed according to the veterinarian's recommendations.

King and his siblings were abandoned outside their home without food or water. When their owner failed to return for them, Beauties stepped in and brought all six puppies into safe care. Since then, King has been working hard on getting healthy and learning that people can be kind and safe while in boarding.

King is a beautiful boy who is still building confidence and learning social skills. He will thrive with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Having another confident, friendly dog in the home would help King continue to come out of his shell and feel secure. Having another dog is required in his foster or adopter's home.

King is still on his journey to becoming adoption-ready. Because of their history, they need a patient foster home where they can continue building trust and confidence. Fostering will allow them to safely develop their social skills with people and, when appropriate, other animals, helping prepare them for a successful forever home.

King is currently boarding at the Haysville Building and is available to meet during public hours Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
