Mildred is currently heartworm positive and is on medication as she begins her treatment plan. Due to her age and current health, she is not spayed yet, with a veterinary exception in place. When she first arrived, Mildred was extremely underweight, but with proper care she has already gained healthy weight in just a few short weeks-a true testament to her strength and will to thrive.
