Malakai is a fighter. Not long ago, he was in the fight of his young life against parvo - and he won.

Now Malakai is just a goofy puppy, learning and enjoying what it means to be a puppy. He's dog door and house trained, gets along great with dogs of every size, and absolutely loves water, treats, kongs, and chews. He's got a pretty docile temperament overall and only really gets hyper during playtime and wrestling with his foster fur-friends. He responds well to redirection when he needs it, though he'll benefit from some obedience training and structure as he grows.

Malakai is good with kids with the right introduction, and we're still working on cat introductions. Inside, he'll happily curl up in his crate, sprawl on a blanket, or settle onto his dog cot - outside, he's just as content chewing on sticks or chilling on the deck.

His foster thinks someone with experience in the breed is going to end up with an incredible dog and companion. After everything Malakai's already fought through, he's more than ready for his next chapter.
